DACA. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

TPS. Temporary Protected Status.

Both programs are in ? ‘ danger ?, grave danger ‘?* from the current administration as soon as tomorrow, 9/5/17. We, all of us, are here to #DefendDACA, while asking Congress to finally offer legislative solutions, sooner rather than later. Senator Flake is a co-sponsor of pending legislation and Rep McSally is part of a letter singed by (9) other Representatives asking Speaker Paul Ryan to move forward on legislation in the House.

We are asking all of you to visit Rep McSally’s office tomorrow (RSVP here to sign-up) with our goal being to ensure a steady stream of constituents speaking with Staff.

If you cannot visit Congresswoman McSally’s office in person, please call her office using our Call Tool.

Suggested script to use:
Hi. My name is [____________ ] from [ZIPCODE].

I am calling to urge Congresswoman McSally to publicly support the DACA program and ask the administration to preserve DACA until Congress can pass a lasting legislative solution protecting DREAMers. DACA protects hundreds of thousands of young immigrants, allowing them to live, work, and go to school without the fear of being deported or separated from their families. Turning our backs on those benefiting from DACA goes against our core values as Americans.

Right now DACA is under threat and needs the urgent support of additional members of the Republican party. Congresswoman McSally has the power and responsibility to do right by these young people. I urge her to push back against the administration’s anti-immigrant agenda, defend DACA, and protect DREAMers.
Can we count on Congresswoman McSally to stand with Dreamers by defending the DACA program?

We can shape the future by applying ongoing pressure to these elected officials. Please join us.

Tuesday, September 5th we are also standing by for a Press Conference & Rally – Rapid Response will be required to lend support. Please follow this link and provide your name and cell number to be notified.
