El Rio Primary Care Adolescent and Pediatric Medicine
PediatricsIn the last couple years, El Rio has made a big push to incorporate a trans-affirming approach to their practice. Several of their clinics are staffed by caregivers who have studied trans medicine and have worked extensively with trans patients.
Appointments at El Rio pediatric clinics can be scheduled by calling 520-670-3909.
Two pediatricians at El Rio have established a great relationship with SAGA, who serve many of the trans-kids in our Rainbow Kids and Trans Parents group, and who provide trans-affirming primary care, puberty ‘blockers’, hormone therapy, and referrals for subspecialty services, to patients under 18. They asked that their email addresses be shown, because as Dr. Cronyn says, “We like to help parents/teens navigate the system.”
