The Gender Identity Center of Colorado
The Gender Identity Center of Colorado, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized in 1978 and incorporated in June 1980. The organization was formed to provide support to anyone gender variant in their gender identity and expression. The Gender Identity Center of Colorado is also an informational and educational resource to the community at large. The Gender Identity Center of Colorado is available to anyone, male / female / other, who can benefit from its services or resources, including spouses, significant others, parents, and siblings. Provide support, outreach, and advocacy for all forms of Gender Identity and Expression.
Educate the public regarding Gender Identity and Expression. A variety of resources are available at the Gender Identity Center, including reading materials, free computer access, free wifi, beverages, snacks, low cost counseling services, hormone referral letters, resource referrals, support groups, open hours, social events, speaker’s bureau and volunteer opportunitiesfor everyone. Website includes a “Trans In Prison” section with info on news, legal resources, detention facilities, etc. The “Resources” tab includes Denver, regional, national, and international resources.
TransHarmony: Phoenix Transgender Support
The mission of Transgender Harmony is to provide resources and opportunities for the support of ALL transgender and gender variant persons in the pursuit of health and happiness in their lives. We believe this will be accomplished through education, personal interaction, developing a fuller understanding and acceptance of self, raising the understanding and acceptance by the general public, professional counseling and providing a support network.
