Alaska
ALASKA Code 18.50.290 (2003)

Alaska will issue an amended birth certificate noting change of name and sex. You will need an original, or certified, copy of the court order for the name change, and an original, or certified, copy of the letter from you SRS surgeon

The Bureau of Vital Statistics will correct a birth certificate. This act is initiated through the Alaska system.
