Desert Partners
One person's transition is a transition for everyone. As the partner, spouse, parent, ally or close friend of a transgender or transsexual person, you may feel betrayed, angry, confused -or delighted - by the all consuming nature of transition and the complexities of life, love and intimacy that accompany the journey. For a parent, no matter how supportive, answers are needed to understand and be helpful. For many of us, this is uncharted territory, and the sometimes desperate attempts to make sense of the "whys" can be overwhelming. Desert Partnerz was formed to help gain a better understanding of the ways gender diversity can impact relationships. Share your feelings, concerns, and experiences. You do not need to be currently partnered with someone to attend this group, nor do couples need to be of a trans/non-trans pairing. Meetings are confidential, and all are welcome.
Third Thursdays 6:00 - 8:00pm Questions? Contact sharon [at] sagatucson.org
SAGA Advisory Council
Help guide the future of SAGA and our programs and services. Find a volunteer role within SAGA that excites you. Individual volunteers and project leaders are encouraged to participate.

Gender Outlawz
Have you ever felt you or someone you know didn't meet society's expectations for being a woman or a man or both? Have you ever thought maybe we should change those expectations, or do away with them? Have you ever been made to feel like a gender outlaw? Have you ever been proud to be (or secretly wanted to be) a gender outlaw? Now's your chance! Come discuss the wild world of gender in all its variations in a supportive environment. Everyone is welcome, no matter where you are -- or want to be -- on the gender spectrum (or any other spectrum, for that matter)!
Gender Outlawz is currently in hibernation. Questions? Contact outlawz [at] sagatucson.org
